Dilip Barua lauds Chinese support for BD’s stance against expansionists

General Secretary of Bangladesher Samyabadi Dal (Marxist-Leninist) Dilip Barua welcomed the Chinese statement regarding Bangladesh stance against expansionist forces' involvement in the internal affairs of the country.

In a statement issued on June 15, he said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's statement imbued with nationalist spirit and independent foreign policy on preserving the national interests is time-befitting and demand of time.

He said the United States, head of the world imperialist force, has openly taken steps to change the Bangladesh government.

He added some opponent political parties in Bangladesh in cooperation with the expansionist force are now desperate to create unrest in the country to change the government centering the upcoming national elections.

Mr Barua lauded the Chinese foreign ministry's statement saying a country (USA) has been involved for long time in the internal affairs of Bangladesh and other developing countries, which is contrary to the Vienna Convention.

He called upon the people of the country to get united to the Prime Minister's struggle to defend the country's independence and sovereignty.
