Chief Advisor's Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has warned that anyone distributing Awami League leaflets will be arrested, reports bdnews24.com.
He clarified that the leaflets contain content that could cause a disruption in law and order, which is why distributing them will lead to arrest.
This is a strict directive from the government, he said.
Shafiqul made the statement during a briefing at the Foreign Service Academy in Dhaka on Monday.
Since Feb 1, the Awami League has been distributing leaflets demanding the resignation of the interim government, withdrawal of cases, and other related claims.
