They will also stage sit-in programme in front of Chittagong Press Club March 22. Ahad Sarkar, a leader of the DBSKF said adding the decision was taken at a meeting of the dock workers at Nimtala near the port office this night.
He said that the government had selected 2500 physically fit dock workers from among 4200 but the shipping minister and the berth operators had resorted to dilly-dally process in reappointment of the sacked workers.
They asked the government to rescind the existing berth operating system and reintroduce the dock workers management board, otherwise they would go for tougher action programme, Ahad added.
