DU Senate body places wreath at Bangabandhu's portrait

The newly-elected Senate members of Dhaka University (DU) placed floral wreath at the portrait of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Dhanmondi Bangabandhu Museum on Saturday.

Pro Vice-Chancellor (administration), also Convener of pro-Awami League teachers' Blue Panel, Prof Dr Muhammad Samad led the programme. He also placed the floral wreath for getting appointment as Pro-VC of DU for second term.

DU Treasurer Prof Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed, DU Teachers' Association (DUTA) General Secretary Prof Dr Md Nizamul Hoque Buiyan, and Proctor Prof Dr AKM Golam Rabbani were present on the occasion.
