DUTA president protests media reports

Dhaka University Teachers' Association (DUTA) President Sadrul Amin protested the reports of different national dailies that claimed his involvement in the DU incidents.
Terming the DU incidents from August 20 to 22 very unexpected and unfortunate, Amin strongly condemned the anarchistic situation in different places of the country in the name of agitation.
The DUTA president in a written statement Thursday said that he was very surprised, frustrated and shocked at the recent media reports that claimed his provocation to the agitation, as he had no support to the destructive and censurable activities by a vested quarter.
He termed the reports about his instigation to students agitation completely false, fabricated and intentional.
He asked the media authorities to abstain from making such untrue news items in future.
