Economic dev through democracy ensures stability: Minister

Foreign Minister Dipu Moni has said economic development through democracy can ensure sustainable peace and stability in a society, reports UNB.
She made the remarks Friday, while acting as a panelist in the interactive session on the second day of Bali Democracy Forum III in Bali, Indonesia. Thai Foreign Minister Kasit Piromya also acted as a co-panelist in the session.
Dipu Moni said that extra constitutional military take over had time and again disrupted the democratic continuity in Bangladesh but it was never able to break the aspirations and resilience of the democracy-loving people of Bangladesh.
