Egyptian PM congratulates Hasina

Egyptian Prime Minister (PM) Dr Hazem El Beblawi has congratulated his Bangladesh counterpart Sheikh Hasina on her reappointment as the head of government after the

January 5 elections, reports BSS.

"He expressed his sincerest congratulations on the occasion of re-election of Sheikh Hasina as Prime Minister of Bangladesh," a foreign office statement said Thursday.

The Egyptian premier, it said, expressed his confidence that the ties of friendship between the two countries would continue to be strengthened in the coming days through mutual cooperation for the benefit and prosperity of the Egyptian and Bangladeshi peoples.
