Ershad axes Bobby Hajjaj

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman HM Ershad relieved on Sunday his special adviser Bobby Hajjaj of the post as it does not come within the purview of organisational framework as prescribed in his party constitution, reports UNB.

According to a press release, Bobby Hajjaj was appointed only for discharging duties as the chairman's special adviser. "There'll be no relations between the party and Bobby following the order," it said.

Earlier, Bobby announced to join the election to Dhaka City Corporation (North) as a mayoral candidate.
