Former President and Jatiya Party (JP) chairman Hussein Mohammad Ershad denied that he had called a particular political party 'hated 'one, reports BSS.
Press and Political Secretary to the former President Sunil Shuvo Roy in a press release issued on Saturday said some newspapers distorted the statement of JP chairman, which he delivered at a views sharing meeting with Jatiya Jubo Sanghati on Thursday.
Besides, Ershad did not say that AL would get 60 seats in the next Parliament election. In fact what the former president said that once AL got only 60 seats though it bagged 40 per cent vote in the national polls, Sunil added.
