Ershad elected leader of opposition, Quader deputy

Chairman of Jatiya Party (JP) HM Ershad has been elected leader of the opposition in the 11th Jatiya Sangsad, a gazette notification issued by the Parliament Secretariat said on Wednesday, reports BSS.

JP Co-Chairman GM Quader has been elected deputy leader of the opposition, it added.

JP Chairman's deputy press secretary Khandakar Delwar Jalali said, "A gazette notification has been issued regarding election of Jatiya Party Chairman HM Ershad leader of the opposition and its co-chairman GM Quader deputy leader of opposition."
