ETV ex-chairman Salam joins Gano Forum

Private TV Channel ETV's ex-chairman Abuds Salam on Sunday formally joined Gano Forum, a key component of Jatiya Oikyafront, ahead of the 11th parliamentary elections, reports UNB.

Salam joined Gano Forum at a press conference of the party at the Jatiya Press club.

Dr Kamal Hossain welcomed Salam and asked him to work for empowering the country's people.

Speaking at the press meet, Salam said, "ETV was grabbed on this day (Nov 25 in 2015). I was there in jail for two and a half years. I had to face such a situation as I fought for upholding the truth."

He said he joined Dr Kamal Hossain's Gano Forum with a new hope for a change in the current bad time of the country. "I'm with Dr Kamal Hossain expecting for having good days."
