Ex-Feni Zila Parishad chairman held

FENI, Aug 9 (UNB): Detectives in a drive arrested former Feni Zila Parishad Chairman Khairul Bashar Majumdar Tapan from his residence at Shantinagar in the capital on Friday night in a case over killing protesters near Mohipal flyover during the July movement.
Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the Shantinagar area and arrested Tapan around 10:00 pm, said Mohamamd Shamsuzzaman, officer-in-charge of Feni Model Police Station.
