A Dhaka court has placed Tamanna Nusrat Bubli, former lawmaker from a reserved seats for women and leader of Narsingdi district Awami League, on a two-day remand in a case lodged under Anti-Terrorism Act with the capital's Tejgaon Police Station.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Md Saifuzzaman passed the order on Tuesday as police produced Bubli before the court with a 10-day remand prayer. The court later sent her back to jail.
Police, on September 28, arrested Tamanna Nusrat Bubli from the capital's Mirpur area.
