Ex-president of BCU Faruque dies

Engineer Khondokar Mohammad Faruque, former president of Chhatra Union, who was elected thrice as president of Engineering University Central Students' Union (EUCSU), was buried at his family graveyard at village Aisara in Tangail district with state honour Wednesday afternoon, reports BSS.

Earlier, the third Namaz-e-Janaza of Engr Faruque was held at Aisara High School ground in Tangail district. President of Chhatra Union Hasan Tarek told BSS that a smartly turned out squad of police presented guard of honour to the deceased freedom fighter.
