Explosions outside BNP central office

Four cocktails exploded in front of the BNP central office in Nayapaltan of the capital on Tuesday afternoon, causing widespread panic along local people.

An unknown person threw four cocktails, said Sentu Mia, inspector (investigation) at Paltan Police Station under Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

On the information, police rushed to the spot, but found no suspects.

BNP central committee member (attached to the office) Tariqul Alam Tenzing alleged that a group of miscreants on a few motorcycles threw several cocktails at the office.

The cocktails exploded in front of the office library, injuring three pedestrians who were taken to a local hospital, he said.
