Falu, two ex-BNP MPs put on fresh remand

BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's adviser Mosaddak Ali Falu and former BNP lawmakers Ashraf Uddin Nizam and Nazim Uddin Ahmed were taken on fresh remand on Wednesday in two separate arson cases, report agencies.
A Dhaka court placed Mosaddek Ali Falu on a five-day fresh remand in an arson case filed with Mirpur Police Station.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Tarique Mainul Islam passed the order when sub-inspector Rafiqul Islam of Mirpur Police Station produced the BNP leader before the court seeking a 10-day remand for him on expiry of his three-day remand.
