Faruk Murder Day observed at RU

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, Feb 9: The leaders and activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), Rajshahi University (RU) unit today observed the Faruk Murder Day on the campus through different programmes.

Marking the day, BCL leaders and activists brought out a mourning

rally from in front of the university Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium.

The rally paraded the main streets of the campus.

Later they arranged a discussion at Kazi Nazrul Islam Auditorium.

Faruk Hossain, a final year student of the Mathematics department was killed in a clash between Shibir activists and BCL men at RU on February 8, 2010. His body was dumped into a manhole.
