Fazle Rabbi was a lawyer of masses, says Taposh

Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) Mayor Barrister Sheikh Fazle Noor Taposh said on Monday Fazle Rabbi Mia was a lawyer of mass people, reports BSS.

"Deputy Speaker Fazle Rabbi Miah was a pioneer in the field of law and was a lawyer of mass people. He never bargained for his fees," Taposh said after attending Rabbi's namaz-e-janaza on High Court premises.

Referring to the difficulty of finding people-friendly lawyers and politicians like Rabbi, the DSCC mayor said during his long path in the legal arena, no one uttered a single word against him.

"Rabbi mingled with common people. So, he was very popular in his arena," he said.
