SYLHET, May 12 (UNB): A female physician was found hanging at their residence in the city's Pathantula area on Sunday morning.
The deceased was identified as Dr Priyanka Talukdar Shanta, 29, a lecturer at Parkview Medical College's physiology department and mother of a three-year-old girl.
Shah Md Harunur Rashid, officer-in-charge of Jalalabad Police Station, said they recovered the hanging body from the house at Pallabi around 9:30am.
Police also detained Shanta's husband Dibakar Chandra Deb Kallol, who is an architect in profession, and his father and mother over the incident, he said.
