Freedom Fighters (FFs) paid homage on Thursday to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at his portrait at Bangabandhu Memorial
Museum at Dhanmondi-32 of the capital, reports BSS.
Led by Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan, the FFs paid tribute to the late leader on the occasion of founding anniversary of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad (BMS).
The freedom fighters went to Dhanmandi-32 in a procession and held a rally there to mark the occasion.
Addressing the rally, the liberation war affairs minister called for freeing the country from war criminals and communalism.
