FM seeks EU's trade concessions until 2032 for Bangladesh's graduation

Commending the European Union (EU) as Bangladesh's largest export market, Foreign Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud has requested for EU's 'Everything But Arms (EBA)' trade concessions until 2032 to support Bangladesh's smooth graduation from the LDC status, reports UNB.

He also laid emphasis on the EU's import of diversified products from Bangladesh including jute and jute goods along with traditional products like apparels and shrimps.

Head of EU Delegation to Bangladesh Ambassador Charles Whiteley met the Foreign Minister on Wednesday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs where two sides also discussed ongoing Bangladesh-EU cooperation on migration management and talent partnership.
