FM signs condolence book at Lee\\\'s death

Foreign Minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali signed on Tuesday the condolence book at the Singapore Consulate in Dhaka at the demise of the founding father and architect of modern Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew, reports BSS.
The foreign minister wrote in the book: "I, on behalf of the government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh and on my own behalf, expressing deepest condolences at the sad demise of the founding father and architect of modern Singapore, Lee Kuan Yew.
"The example of his leadership and accomplishments will remain as a lasting legacy not only for the citizens of Singapore but also for the whole world," he wrote.
Ali added: "I also express my deepest sympathy for the members of the bereaved family.
