'Footage of torching six bodies in Ashulia found'

The prosecution team, investigating the case of six burned bodies in Ashulia, has informed the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) that they have found a video footage of killing the protesters.
During the proceedings of the tribunal, Prosecutor Minhazul Islam said, "The investigation agency has obtained a video footage of the killings in the final stages of investigating the case of torching six bodies in Ashulia.
The identity of the persons responsible for the killings in Ashulia and the method of the crime have been revealed through this footage. However, the investigation into this matter will take some time to complete."
He informed the tribunal that additional significant evidence had also been found in the crimes against humanity cases, including this one and more time was needed to examine this evidence and prepare the investigation reports.
After holding hearing from the prosecution, the tribunal granted one more month to submit the investigation report in the case and fixed May 25 as date.
A three-member ICT bench, led by its Chairman Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mozumder issued the order.
The ICT on April 15 sent former additional superintendent of police (crimes and ops) Md Abdullahil Kafi, former additional superintendent of police (Savar circle) Md Shahidul Islam and former detective branch (DB) inspector Md Arafat Hossain to jail in the case.
