Forest Dept files case over death of Ctg landslide

A case has been filed in connection with the death of two day labourers and a minor boy in a landslide while removing soil from the slope of a hill at Dakkhin Rajanagar in Rangunia upazila, reports UNB.
Golam Mostafa, beat officer of Department of Forest (North), filed the case with Rangunia Thana on Sunday accusing six named people, said Imtiaz Ahmed Bhuiyan, officer-in-charge (OC) of the Thana. The accused are Md Dudu Miah, Md Morshed, Md Rofu, Md Jahangir, Md Azad and Md Baccha.
Two labourers- Didar and Amir Ali, and Atib of the area were killed when a chunk of mud suddenly fell on them on Saturday.
