Four charges submitted against Habiganj Razakar trio

The prosecution at the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-2 submitted on Sunday formal charge against Habiganj Razakar trio Mohibur Rahman alias Boro Miah, his younger brother Mozibur Rahman alias Angur Miah and their cousin Abdur Razzak for their alleged crimes against humanity committed in 1971, reports BSS.

Prosecutors Sultan Mahmud Simon and Tapos Kanti Baul submitted the formal charge against the trio, bringing four charges of crimes against humanity.

The ICT-2 set May 25 for holding hearing on whether to take the charges into cognizance or not.

The tribunal on April 30 set Sunday for submitting formal charge against the first two. But prosecution said the investigation agency in their probe found credible evidence against Razzak for being involved in the crimes.
