Four large open spaces in Dhaka will be rented for Metrorail construction work.
Three locations at Golapbagh, Agargaon and Uttara had been earmarked and the project authorities were now holding negotiations with concerned authorities, project chief Md Mofazzal Hossain told bdnews24.com.
The project authorities are now looking for another space between Farmgate and the Dhaka University.
"Dhaka South City Corporation has agreed to give the Golapbagh ground, which was also used for the construction of Mayor Hanif Flyover.
Rajuk will rent out a place in the Uttara Third Phase while a space owned by the Public Works Department in Agargaon has also been made available," said Hossain.
Talks are on with several government organisations for the fourth location, added the project chief.
