Four JMB activists held with explosives in Kishoreganj

KISHOREGANJ, July 18 (UNB): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) personnel arrested four activists of banned Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) and recovered 15 hand grenade covers and four and a half kilogramme explosives from Satuta village in Bajitpur Upazila here Tuesday night.
The arrested are Satuta Jame-mosque Imam Din Islam, Abdul Hannan, Harun and Hossain of Satuta village.
Acting on a tip-off, the elite force raided the house of Din Islam at about 11.30 pm and arrested him with some documents of the JMB and took him to the RAB camp.
Later, following his confessional statement RAB personnel raided the houses of Hannan, Harun and Hossain and arrested them.
They recovered 15 covers of hand grenade from the house of Hannan while the explosives from Hossain's house.
