Four more MPs take oath

Four more Members of Parliament (MPs)-elect in the 10th national election were sworn in Sunday, reports UNB.

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath to the new MPs at a simple ceremony at the oath chamber of Jatiya Sangsad at around 3:00 pm.

The four MPs are AH Mahmood Ali (AL-Dinajpur-4), Monzurul Islam Liton (AL-Gaibandha-1), Dr Younus Ali Sarker (AL-Gaibandha-3) and MA Awal (AL-Laxmipur-1), said a PID handout.

They were elected after the re-voting in 390 polling stations of seven constituencies Thursday.
