G M Quader meets acting Australian envoy

Jatiya Party (JP) Chairman Ghulam Muhamed Quader has met Acting Australian High Commissioner Nardia Simpson at her Gulshan residence in the capital on Thursday, reports BSS.

In the meeting held in between 12:20 pm and 2:20 pm, they discussed the current political situation of Bangladesh alongside the issues of bilateral interest.

Quader said he expressed the hope that Australia will stay beside Bangladesh in its progress in the days to come.

JP presidium member Mashrur Mawla was present at the meeting.
