GM Quader wants legal action

Jatiya Party Chairman GM Quader has called for legal action against those responsible for the collision between a sand carrier and a speedboat in Madaripur's Shibchar that left at least 26 dead, reports bdnews24.com.

The opposition party leader made the call on Monday after expressing his condolence to those hurt or killed in the accident.

A speedboat heading from Munshiganj's Shimulia pier to Madaripur's Shibchar crashed into a sand carrier on early Monday. Rescue workers have since found 26 bodies.
