Govt approves Tk 1.78b special allocation for Zila Parishads

The government has approved a special allocation of approximately Tk 1.78 billion for Zila Parishads to carry out infrastructure development and public welfare-oriented activities in different districts of the country.

The Local Government Division under the Ministry of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives has released the amount one-time from the 'Zila Parishad Development Assistance' sector under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the current fiscal 2025-26.

The Local Government Division issued an order to this end on June 2, reports BSS.
