BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday said the government has no control over the country’s law-enforcing agencies because of their political use. “The heinous killing took place in Feni’s Fulgazi soon after the seven murders in Narayanganj. We think the government has no control over the State. It has no control over the country’s law-enforcing agencies for using them politically. This is how the law and order situation is deteriorating,” he said. The BNP leader said this while addressing a discussion organised by ‘Desh Matrika Parishad’ at the Jatiya Press Club in the city, according to a news agency.
