Hasina exchanges views with Habiganj AL leaders

HABIGANJ, Dec 11 (BSS): President of Bangladesh Awami League (AL) and former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina today exchanged views with AL candidates and local leaders on her way to Sylhet to start electoral campaign.
During the meeting, she said that her party would contest in the parliamentary election with the grand combine. The AL president also urged the leaders and workers to work unitedly for victory in the election.
The exchange of views with the leaders was held at the Habiganj Gas Field Rest House here.
AL candidates, including District AL President Dr. Moshfiq Hossain Chowdhury, Alhaj Dewan Farid Gazi, Advocate Mazid Khan, Advocate Mohammad Abu Zahir and Enamul Haque Mostafa Shaheed were present in the meeting.
Central leaders Suranjit Sen Gupta and Abdus Sobhan Golap were also present on the occasion.
On way to Sylhet, Sheikh Hasina responded to the crowd in Habiganj by waving her hands.
