Hasina made BCL life member

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been made a life member of the Dhaka University unit of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), reports BSS.

The announcement of giving the AL president the lifetime honorary membership came from a students' rally held Saturday in front of theArts Faculty Building on the university campus marking her 33rd Homecoming Day.

General Secretary of DU BCL Omar Sharif told the news agency that Sheikh Hasina was a member of the DU unit and "she has been given the honour taking her contributions to BCL and the university into account".
