HC summons Jamaat leader Rafiq

The High Court (HC) further asked Monday Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka City unit ameer Rafiqul Islam Khan to appear in person on July 7, reports BSS.
A bench comprising Justice Ashfaqul Islam and Justice Ashraful Kamal issued the summons as Rafiq remained absent defying its earlier order.
A larger bench of the HC Division on August 1 by an order declared Jamaat-e-Islami illegal as a political party and also ordered cancellation of its registration as a political party.
