A Dhaka court fixed on June 30 for hearing the replies from BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in a Tk 45.49-crore loan default case over Dandy Dying Limited, reports UNB.

Judge Fatema Ferdous of Dhaka Money Loan Court-1 passed the order, asking the BNP chairperson's lawyer to submit the written statement before the court on behalf of Khaleda. The court also fixed June 30 for framing the issue of the case.

On March 22, the same court summoned the BNP chairperson and her co-defendants to appear before it on April 12 in the loan default case.

On March 16, following a Sonali Bank plea, the court agreed to enlist the names of the former prime minister, her late son Arafat Rahman Koko's wife Sharmila Rahman and their two minor daughters on trial as inheritors of late Koko, one of the company's directors, who passed away on January 24.

Earlier, on March 8, Sonali Bank's senior executive officer Nazrul Islam filed the petition before the court as per Order 22 and Rule 4 of Code of Civil Procedure (CPC).

On October 2, 2012, Sonali Bank filed the case, as the defendants failed to repay the loan after issuing a final notice.
