April 13, 2010 00:00:00

The hearing on defamation suit filed against former Army chief General Moeen U Ahmed was deferred to May 10, reports UNB.
Judge SM Saiful Islam of the Third Joint District Judge's Court fixed the new date Monday following a time petition submitted by counsels of Moeen.
Former BNP state minister for energy Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku filed the case on July 12, 2009 accusing the former army chief of making derogatory remarks that tarnished his (Tuku’s) reputation.
