Hearing in Zia Charitable and Zia Orphanage Trusts graft cases against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia is scheduled to be held today (Monday), reports BSS.
Earlier on August 03, Khaleda's counsel concluded quizzing first prosecution witness (PW) and plaintiff of the cases, Harun-ur-Rashid, deputy director of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). He is supposed to be cross-examined by the counsels of the other accused today (Monday).
ACC filed Zia Orphanage Trust graft case against six, including Khaleda Zia and her eldest son, Tarique Rahman, on July 03, 2008. On August 08, 2011, the anti-graft body lodged the Zia Charitable Trust graft case against Khaleda and three others.
