Hero Alom assaulted on Bogura court premises

Ashraful Alom, popularly known as Hero Alom, was assaulted on a court premises in Bogura town on Sunday, reports UNB.
The You Tuber came under attack on the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court premises when he went there to file a case against 33 people including former Awami League (AL) general secretary Obaidul Quader, two former DCs and a UNO for beating him up at a polling centre.
The attackers also forced him to hold his ears and do squat in front of people.
Alom blamed BNP men for the attack.
He said," During the incident, the perpetrators said I had hurled abuse at BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman. But I am saying that if anyone can show me any footage of offending Tarique Rahman, then I will roam around with a garland of shoes around my neck," he said.
Joint general secretary of Bogura district unit BNP Advocate Nazmul Huda Papon denied the allegation.
"Hero Alom works as an AL agent. Earlier, he filed a case against BNP leader Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. During AL regime, he tried to legitimise the lop-sided elections by participating in various polls. For these reasons, the common people of Bogura are angry with him," he said.
