Hijbut Tahrir activists arrested from DU

Police Saturday night arrested three students of Dhaka University (DU) from Surjo Sen Hall on suspicion of their being members of Hijbut Tahrir, reports UNB.
The arrested were identified as Abdul Hai Raju, student of Finance, Mohsin Hossain, student of Accounting and Nayon, student of Management of the university and also the residents of Surjo Sen Hall.
Campus sources said residents of that hall caught Mohsin and Raju with leaflets containing anti-state speech and informed proctor. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and arrested them at 11:45 pm.
Later, on their confessional statement police arrested Nayon at about 1:30am. Police was conducting drive in the university area until filing of this report.
