Holy Hajj likely on Dec 19

The holy Hajj will be observed on December 19 this year subject to the sighting of the Zilhaj moon, reports BSS.
Persons willing to perform the Hajj either under the government arrangement (ballottee) or under private arrangement (non-ballottee) will have to deposit fixed amount of money with the prescribed banks and apply, an official handout said.
Application forms for performing the Hajj under government arrangements can be obtained from the offices of the respective deputy commissioners (DCs), upazila nirbahi officers (UNOs), district and divisional offices of Islamic Foundation and from the Hajj office in the city.
Persons willing to go under government arrangements can deposit their money with any branches of Sonali Bank, Janata Bank, Rupali Bank, Agrani Bank, Pubali Bank, City Bank, Islami Bank, Al-Arafah Bank, Krishi Bank and Rajshahi Krishi Unnayan Bank.
Persons willing to perform Hajj under private arrangements should contact the Hajj agencies directly, the handout also said.
Pilgrims belonging to green category will be staying within 800 metres of Ka'ba Sharif paying taka 1,94,577, and those in blue category will be able to stay within 1,300 metres of the Ka'ba Sharif paying taka 1,73,402.
