A day after being elevated to a full minister, Asaduzzaman Khan vowed on Wednesday zero tolerance to militancy and terrorism, reports UNB.
The Home Minister came up with the fresh vow while talking to the news agency after taking over charge as a full minister. "The ongoing drive against militancy and terrorism will continue," he said.
Asaduzzaman said he will perform the same role as before and carry out his duties as per Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's directive as it was done earlier.
"The people of the country were benefited by me in the past, and they'll be benefited even more in the future," he said.
The state minister said the law-enforcement agencies will be made more people-friendly.
