Housing Ministry asked to recover grabbed property

A meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Housing and Public Works Ministry has recommended the ministry to take necessary steps for recovering its grabbed property.
It also urged the authority concerned to use the recovered properties properly.
It also suggested expediting the activities of construction of flats and satellite towns and development of plots in different districts aiming at reducing population pressure on the capital.
The meeting chaired by committee Chairman ABM Fazley Karim Chowdhury also discussed the progress of the projects taken by the National Housing Authority.
Committee members: State Minister for Housing and Public Works Abdul Mannan Khan, Noor-e-Alam Chowdhury, Asaduzzaman Khan, Jahirul Haque Bhuiyan Mohan, Lutfur Rahman, Enamul Haque and Begum Safia Khatun attended the meeting.
