Huji member Mufti Zubayer held in city

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive arrested a member of banned Islamist militant outfit Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (Huji) Mufti Zubayer Abdullah from the city's Khilgaon area, reports UNB.

Zubayer used various fake names, including Sazed Mohammed Foyez, Khairul Hasan and Noyan, to carry out organisational activities.  Sources at RAB headquarters said tipped off that some Huji members were staying in the Khilgaon area concealing their whereabouts and planning to conduct subversive activities.
