The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 is set to deliver its verdict today (Sunday) in a case over crimes against humanity allegedly committed in the capital's Rampura area during the July Mass Uprising, report agencies.
Two people were killed and two others were injured during the uprising.
The first tribunal on June 15 set the date for pronouncing judgment in the case.
Confirming the matter to journalists, prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim said the pronouncement of the verdict will be broadcasted live with court's permission.
The prosecution had submitted the formal charges in the case on August 7 last year, alleging police firing on a student hanging from a building cornice in Rampura and the killing of two others in the area.
