The International Crimes Tribunal asked on Sunday the prosecution to submit on October 28 the investigation report on detained war crimes accused Obaidul Huq alias Abu Taher of Netrakona, reports UNB.
The three-member tribunal, headed by Justice M Enayetur Rahim, set the date after going through the progress report of the investigation agency on war crimes accused Taher and another. While submitting the progress report, designated prosecutor Mukhlesur Rahman Badal sought time for two months to complete the investigation as the assigned investigator has already interrogated 28 prosecution witnesses in connection with the case. According to the prosecution, the investigation agency started investigation on June 6, 2013.
