IDRA website launched

Newly formed Insurance Development Regulatory Authority (IDRA) has launched its website regarding their various activities to oversee the insurance sector. IDRA started its journey in January this year aiming to regulate the insurance sector. Shefaq Ahmed, the country's lone full actuary has been working as the chairman of the IDRA. Ziaul Haq Mamum, a professor of Institute of Business Administration in the Dhaka University, Naba Gopal Banik, an ex-executive director of the Bangladesh Bank and Shamsher Ali, a retired joint secretary are working as the members of the insurance regulator.
