Iftekhar greets new Japanese FM

Foreign Adviser Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury greeted Japanese Foreign Minister (FM) Hirofumi Nakasone, who has just been named to the post by Prime Minister Taro Aso, reports UNB.
In a message Thursday sent from New York where the Foreign Adviser is currently attending the session of the UN General Assembly, hoped that during Nakasone's term of office 'the bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Japan would deepen and expand'.
He added that he looked forward to working closely with his Japanese counterpart.
