Imran Sarkar hurt as Mancha factions clash

A faction of Ganajagaran Mancha activists attacked another during a march protesting against war criminal Delwar Hossain Sayedee's reduced sentence, reports bdnews24.com.

Mancha spokesperson Imran H Sarkar and four others were injured in the fighting Friday evening.

After a rally at Shahbagh, the Mancha activists tried to take out a procession towards Ruposhi Bangla Hotel in the evening, but police stopped them.

During the scuffle, another faction of Mancha activists attacked them.

Imran and four others were injured at this time and they were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
