Increase enrolment in cadet colleges: JS body

The parliamentary standing committee concerned on Sunday suggested the defence ministry for taking steps to gradually increase the number of students in the country's cadet colleges, reports UNB.
It also recommended the ministry to take necessary measures to renovate the dilapidated buildings of the old cadet colleges. The suggestions came from the 4th meeting of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Defence Ministry, held at Jatiya Sangsad with its chairman Muhammad Faruk Khan in the chair. A multimedia presentation on cadet colleges also was made at the meeting, which was attended by committee members Dr Dipu Moni, Elius Uddin Mollah and Hosne Ara Begum.
